
ORACLE is a research center of the University of La Réunion (France). It is set in the Indian Ocean and was founded in 1992. It is one of the two research groups of the research team "Cultural and LIiterary Crossroads" of the Arts Faculty. Its members research on mutidisciplinary programs in Humanities and Social Sciences. Their fields have in common multicultural approaches of various parts of the world marked by colonialism or at the crossroads of various cultures. ORACLE is a federation of five sub-teams oriented toward specific cultural fields : 1) GEMI: Spanish-speaking world research group 2) GENA Northern American world research group 3) GRAS South African world research group 4) CIRAOI: Indian Ocean multidisciplinary research group 5) CREE: Research Group on literature, writing and space.
