(G.E.N.A.) Centré sur les Etats-Unis, ce laboratoire a pour vocation de cerner l'impact du passé colonial nord-américain, jusque dans l'héritage de ce passé dans ses institutions, sa politique extérieure, sa littérature (Sud, Nouvelle Angleterre) et son idéologie (Hawaii, Environnementalisme).

The Northern American World Research Group is largely dedicated to the United States. It focuses on American colonial past and its echoes in American intitutions, foreign and home policies, as well as literature and arts (South, New England) and ideology (Hawaii, Environmentalism)
